SAMA 2019 Annual General Meeting - Innovation and Improvement

Delegates from Saskatchewan municipal governments and stakeholder groups gathered at the Delta Hotel in Regina on April 10, 2019 for SAMA's Annual General Meeting. The day's agenda included progress reports from the CEO and the Board of Directors, an update from the Assessment Services Division, a Financial Report, and Preliminary Value Trend information for the 2021 Revaluation.  Delegates were also given a review of the Agency's Technology upgrades, as well as updates from the Cities of Regina, Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Swift Current on assessment trends in their jurisdictions.

Dave Griffiths made the keynote address "Everything is About to Change".

SAMA also sponsored a training session for municipal administrators on April 9. Those in attendance received instruction on the use of the Agency's new MySAMA web portal.
